Spring has sprung in the South! Here in Savannah, we are all about taking advantage of the beautiful days that are ahead. From baseball games to classic cocktails (this is Savannah after all…), there are a plethora of spring activities that will have you saying, “Cheers to the weekend!” So grab a friend (or two, or three) and try some of our favorite Savannah hot spots. Go to a Savannah Bananas Baseball Game Grab some peanuts and cracker jacks… and head to a Savannah Bananas baseball game this spring! If you haven’t been yet, this is one spot that is a must. Boasting national recognition as organization of the year back-to back in 2016 and 2017, these games are known to be one of the most fun to attend. They frequently sell out with a packed house—so plan ahead when buying tickets. Stop by Ordinary Pub to get a Togosa Calling all brunch goers – this one’s for you! Home of the “togosa” (aka a “to-go mimosa”), this brunch spot is anything BUT ordinary. Located in the basement of an old historic building on the one and only Broughton Street, The Ordinary Pub has an eccentric and welcoming feel. Start your Saturday here with their amazing brunch menu and $10 bottomless mimosas. In true Savannah fashion, take your drink to-go! Take a Boat to Wyld Boating is a way of life here in Savannah, as a lot of the city is accessible by boat. One of our favorite Savannah restaurants is the perfect place to boat to for a night under the stars. Located in Sandfly and just minutes from the Wormsloe Historic Site, The Wyld Dock Bar is a laid-back and fun restaurant that offers American food with a seafood twist. Sit back, relax, and sip a cocktail at this hidden Savannah gem. Get a Brew at Southbound Brewing Company If you’re looking for a hangout spot with funky vibes and great drinks, look no further than Southbound Brewing Company. The brewery is known for their year-round mainstays, such as the Hoplin’ IPA and Shakedown Street, but often releases seasonal favorites and one-off specialty beers so there’s definitely something for everyone’s palate. They host lots of events, so check out their schedule, and put one of their events on yours! SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival For a family-friendly option, check out the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival that happens each spring! The sidewalks of Savannah’s iconic Forsyth Park will come to life on April 28th as SCAD students, alumni, and high school students create colorful chalk masterpieces in a tradition that’s nearly as old as the university itself! All of this and more is waiting for you in Savannah, so start planning your spring getaway! Need a ride to get around town? We’ve got you covered at Savannah Car Rental!
